Dental Services

Dr. Chen and his team offer services from routine cleaning and tooth colored fillings, to crowns and more advanced cosmetic procedures. If you have a dental emergency we will see you the same day you call.

Tooth-colored Fillings: Tooth-colored fillings are used to repair tooth structure after decay (a cavity) has been removed. They can also be used to repair a broken tooth. Having fillings done is a painless and fairly quick procedure and will restore the health and appearance of your teeth. Learn More

Crowns: There are a number of reasons a crown could be recommended to repair or strengthen a tooth. If a tooth has broken badly and does not have enough natural tooth structure remaining to place a filling a crown could save the tooth. If a tooth has had a root canal it becomes fragile and a crown will protect the tooth from fracture. Crowns are made from porcelain and metal and look and feel like your natural teeth. Learn More

Implant Crowns: If you have lost a tooth, one option to replace it could be to have a dental implant. Implants are usually placed by an oral surgeon. The next step after the implant is placed and has had time to heal is to have a crown. Dr. Chen will take an impression and send it to a lab to have your implant crown made. Learn More

Bridges: If you have lost one or more teeth, one option to replace it could be to have a bridge. Dr. Chen would prep the teeth on either side of the missing tooth/teeth to be fitted for crowns with a false tooth/teeth in-between, and the dental lab would fabricate a bridge. Learn More

Root Canal Therapy: Root canal(endodontic) therapy is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or infected. A root canal procedure is performed when the nerve of the tooth becomes infected or the pulp becomes damaged. Dr. Chen does some root canals in the office and also refers to local endodontic specialists for treatment when necessary. Learn More

Tooth Extraction: If you have a tooth that is badly broken, fractured or loose your only option may be to have it removed. Another reason for an extraction of a tooth might be because there is not enough room in your mouth, which is often the case with wisdom teeth. Dr. Chen will examine the tooth in question and may refer you to an oral surgeon in town for the extraction. Learn More

Cosmetic Dentistry

Porcelain Dental Veneers: If you are unhappy with the look of your teeth or want that movie star smile one option might be veneers. Dental porcelain veneers are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front surface of teeth to improve your appearance. These shells are bonded to the front of the teeth changing their color, shape, size, or length. Learn More

Chairside Composite/Resin Veneers: A bonded veneer is the application of a tooth-colored composite resin to repair a decayed, chipped, fractured or discolored tooth. Unlike porcelain veneers, which are manufactured in a laboratory, bonded veneers can be completed in a single visit. Learn More

Teeth Whitening: If you have always wanted a whiter, brighter smile, we have options for every budget. From take home whitening kits you can only get at a dental office, to custom made whitening trays. Learn More

Preventative Dentistry

New Patient Exam: We welcome new patients of all ages. On your first visit to see us every adult will have a full set of digital xrays taken and an exam by Dr. Chen and the hygienist. From there we will map out a plan to help you maintain your oral health or if it has been a while, we will make a step by step treatment plan to get you back on track. Ready to schedule?

Routine Hygiene Cleaning: Also known as Adult or Child Prophylaxis. Having a regular professional cleaning at least every six months is best for your oral health and can also improve your overall health.

Sealants: Sealants act as a barrier to protect cavity prone areas from decay. They are usually applied to the chewing surface of back teeth. Sealing a tooth is fast and easy.
